Most of the rights and responsibilities related to health and safety, and minimumwage, among others. Disabled employees are protected from workplace discrimination, boththe Rehabilitation Act and Disabilities Act. It is the right of an employee to work in a safe andsecure environment. Also, workers are expected to abide by the terms and conditions of theworkplace to avoid any conflicts with their prospective employers.Further, the authors outline that the right of the worker to report any employer whoinfringes on their right. OSHA and EEOC are some of the bodies that protect the rights ofemployees, and they ensure that workers file complaints against their employers, should therebe allegations of misuse, exploitation, or unlawful termination. Attimes the discussions might get emotionally charged and heated. As such, the parties agree onvarious ground rules to avoid conflicts that would collapse their entire process. Later, theparties share and exchange proposals to resolve any disputes. The bargaining prices that followenable the parties to explore multiple potential compromises.
